Rose, rose, rose, you never learn.
I don't know what you've done here that redefines the beginner flash "mouse maze" game. You've simply taken the code that a thousand other games have used, applied some fancy effects to the background and made really long, boring levels. And your special backgrounds are the same thing just recoloured.
The overuse of flash effects lags me down and causes my cursor to flash outside the window. I also love how it takes to get to the game, this isn't as bad as Overhead 7's intro, but it's still annoying. I do applaud you for the create a level mode, I'd double applaud you if I thought you truly understood the code underlying it. Ctrl + C, Ctrl + P, at the end of the day just isn't that impressive.
The music I rated low because I'm just not a fan of the jazz you use, too smooth. I wonder what takes you so long to make these things. I suspect you lie, but for something that has taken so long, at heart it's just another mouse maze. A poor one at that. The backgrounds that weren't made specifically for this version are just fugly.
In short, I'd like to see a new trick. Essentially this game is the same as all the other Overheads. Detect if the mouse is over an object, start over if it is. End of story. C'mon you couldn't even get the game to work without having left-click = start over. There are ways to make it work without that cheap trick.
I look forward to an original game by you with code that you cant just copy and paste from some website. You have the ability to polish this stuff in a way the NG masses love, let's see you apply it to an original game. Against your extensive record, I think you *can* do it. Ignore the asspats you'll get for this and take my review to heart and make something great.
